  • Church on the Street Microchurch

    Every 4th and 5th Monday, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, we host dinner and a service at Safe House Outreach, located at 89 Ellis St NE, Atlanta, GA 30303. Greater Atlanta has over 7,000 people living on the streets. We call many of them our friends.

    Every first Saturday from 10a - 2p we manage facility needs, work on special projects and go into our community to love our neighbors.

  • Prison Microchurch

    City Takers equips and sends missionaries behind bars to meet practical needs and bring hope and encouragement to many who have lost hope and are forgotten.

  • Youth Development Program

    "Greater Than" is a our weekly after school program for inner city youth that provides a safe, positive environment with the goal of equipping students with keys to success rooted in biblical purpose and identity.

    Use your gifts and talents to help us continue to build out and maintain our new headquarters. Whether it’s cleaning, painting, design, renovation projects or administration, there’s always a project to volunteer for. With your help we can steward our new space well.

  • CT Worship Experience

    Crossover Church ATL is our missional church plant and Sunday expression of Building a City. Every week we gather for community and discipleship. We are always seeking volunteers to help us host this Sunday Experience.

ANNUAL EVENTS

  • Socktober

    Our annual sock drive for the homeless. In our time working with the homeless we have identified socks as being a big need and want for those who live on the street. We need hundreds of socks every year and ask dozens of volunteers to participate in this event every October.

  • Warm Atlanta

    Once a year during the winter season City Takers gives out blankets, jackets, sweaters, scarves, hats and socks to the homeless in Atlanta. These items are collected throughout the year to be given out during the coldest time of winter.

  • Back to School Bash

    Join us for a fun event to help children of all ages prepare to go BACK TO SCHOOL! This block party features a backpacks and school supply giveaway, free haircuts, free food, games and resources. If you’re interested in helping provide school supplies or volunteering for the block party, sign up below!

  • Boxes of Love

    Boxes of Love

    Boxes of Love is our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive in partnership with Cru Inner City Ministry. You can help by donating food and/or helping pack food boxes and/or helping distribute food boxes.

  • Christmas Festival

    Our Christmas Party in our missional community hosting families that are served by our after school program and other community resources. We need volunteers to help decorate, serve food, host stations, crafts and games as well as set up and tear down.

    This event features a community Christmas production, toy giveaway, free hot cocoa bar, free popcorn bar, ornament making, cookie decoration, music and lots of fun!
