Missional Church w/ Seniors

Because of your generosity, our seniors are not forgotten—they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

Twice each month, what may seem like simple gatherings have become powerful moments of connection and care for the residents of Friendship Towers—where we’ve now faithfully served for over 10 years.

One of those gatherings has grown into something truly special. What started as offering free haircuts has turned into a full, vibrant barbershop experience—filled with laughter, storytelling, and genuine companionship. For many seniors who face isolation, this is more than a haircut—it’s a place to belong. It’s where loneliness is replaced with conversation, and where dignity is restored in the simplest, yet most meaningful ways.

Our second gathering centers around fellowship—sharing breakfast, coffee, and conversation over bingo. But even here, something deeper is happening. We pray together. We share encouragement from God’s Word. We create space for joy, for connection, and for reminders that their lives still matter deeply.

Because of you, these moments are not occasional—they are consistent. And consistency has built trust, relationship, and lasting impact.

We don’t just show up—we stay. And in staying, we are living out the heart of James 1:27—caring for those who are often overlooked.

This is the fruit of your giving:
Loneliness replaced with laughter.
Silence replaced with conversation.
And lives reminded that they are still seen by God—and by us.
